How to Grow as an Artist by Daniel Grant

This book lists resources at the end of each chapter for developing your skills, finding inspirations, studio practices, presenting your work (framing), exhibiting & selling your work and ways to meet other artists.

He also says that artists are people who have defined themselves as such. Credentials are of no particular importance to creating art. Art is not the sole domain of specialists and technicians in that it follows no laws. Most art movements have made a point of defying rules and traditions.
